Nevada Animal Advocates is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting animals through advocacy, awareness, and legislative reform. Driven by a mission to be a relentless voice for the voiceless, the organization works to hold individuals accountable for acts of abuse, neglect, and cruelty while pushing for stronger legal protections across the state.
In addition to campaigning for stricter laws and harsher penalties, Nevada Animal Advocates created and launched the first statewide Nevada Animal Abuse Registry—an initiative designed to educate the public and increase transparency around individuals convicted of animal cruelty. Their work also includes championing impactful legislation, such as Reba’s Law (AB381), which aims to strengthen penalties for severe cases of abuse.
Through ongoing advocacy efforts and community engagement, Nevada Animal Advocates continues to raise awareness about gaps in Nevada’s legal system and mobilize support for meaningful, lasting change. Their goal is simple but powerful: to create a safer, more accountable environment for animals across the state.
