PAWsitive Difference is a Las Vegas–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming homeless dogs and cats in need. Driven by a deep passion for animal welfare, the organization works with animals that have been abandoned or are at risk in local shelters, matching them with loving forever families.
In addition to rescue and adoption services, PAWsitive Difference provides ongoing support to adoptive families through training classes and post-adoption guidance. They also extend their mission into the community by assisting veterans and senior citizens with the costs of pet care, including food, grooming, medications, and veterinary needs—helping ensure pets can remain in the homes where they are loved.
Founded by lifelong animal advocate Annette Thomas and co-founder Margaret Deibert, the organization has grown from a one-person effort into a dedicated team of volunteers and fosters. Together, they continue to expand their impact, saving hundreds of animals each year and working toward a future where more pets find safety, care, and lasting homes.
